Every low end device users complain increasing size and RAM consumption of their low end smartphones. Now Facebook introduced lite version of its app known as Facebook Lite. I tested this app. Unfortunately not currently available in Pakistan on Google Play Store. Now available in Pakistan also. As it is only available in Sri lanka, Bangladesh and  Nepal, etc. The lite version of app is amazingly just 256KB and really faster as it is the Lite version. UI is simple and the app is designed for 2G users. You can't play videos on this app and can't open a link if it is in comment or in a post. This app is really lite and amazing for 2G and low end smartphone users. App permissions listed in the snapshot. Other snapshots also attached from the app. :)
The icon is also redesigned. Just color changed from default blue to White.
