Android One headed to Pakistan

Yesterday there was a NEWS about Android One that some people might like. The NEWS was that Google announced another Android One smartphone. But this time it is Qmobile A1 and it is in Pakistan. That is a big news and haters of Qmobile are gonna hate that news. But i think there is nothing to hate in that smartphone. I already explained Android One project and it is like nexus program. We will get Google's approved Hardware and Latest Software like Android Lollipop straight from the Google.

Qmobile A1 is a part of android one project and it has all key specifications necessary for Android One smartphones just like Nexus devices. Qmobile A1 have following key specs:
  • 4.5” FWVGA display
  • Cortex A7 1.3 GHz Quad-Core processor
  • 1GB RAM
  • 8GB storage (expandable up to 32GB)
  • 2x micro SIM (Dual SIM)
  • Front and rear facing cameras (2MP and 5MP)
  • Rechargeable lithium-ion, 1700mAh
  • Android 5.1 Lollipop (and gets the new version soon after it’s released)
The phone comes at a price tag of nearly PKR 11,500/-. As promised from Google this smartphone as an Android One smartphone will be running latest version of Android and will be getting support from Google like latest OS updates and security updates straight from the Google.

Performance:

As mentioned earlier Android One smartphones are tested by Google on their latest software so i think there is no need to worry about performance. The Benchmarks from the popular An Tu TU app shows that the device is a good performer.

Camera is just meh in this price tag. It has a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera but the results aren't good.
